We performed the low-voltage cabling installation for a new multi-story university dormitory, where we delivered a complete communications infrastructure supporting resident data services, cameras, wireless access points, and access control systems. We installed and terminated extensive Category 6, coaxial, fiber optic, and copper backbone cabling, along with full MDF/IDF buildouts on each floor, including racks, patch panels, PDUs, ladder rack, and structured cable management.  

Our team also installed fiber backbones between buildings and internal IDFs, supported more than 1,200 network outlets, and deployed cabling for 86 access-controlled doors. Through disciplined project management, coordinated installation across multiple floors, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards, we delivered a reliable, and scalable communications infrastructure supporting the university’s new residential facility.  

We successfully executed a fast-track Main Distribution Frame (MDF) migration to a new permanent facility, completing a project well ahead of a 90-day schedule by leveraging disciplined project management, proactive field coordination, and phased execution. Our score included locating and rerouting existing underground fiber, installing new handholes and splice enclosures, performing more than 2,200 fusion splices across multiple fiber types, and extending fiber into the new MDF space.

In parallel, we de-installed, relocated, and reinstalled network racks, cabinets, and active equipment, while testing and labeling more than 2,200 fiber terminations to ensure full system readiness. Through close coordination with the client's IT team, strict control of the critical path, and careful sequencing to minimize downtime, we delivered a fully operational MDF on schedule in full alignment with project requirements.
